 Topic: Determination of the Maximum Reduction Degree during Reeling of Capillary Tubes after Long-Mandrel Drawing

 Brief Biography

Prof. Sergey V. Parshin is a Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor at the Institute of New Materials and Technologies, Ural Federal University, Russia. His research focuses on metal forming, tube drawing, finite element analysis, and manufacturing process optimisation. He has authored over 180 scientific publications, 30 patents, and a monograph. He serves on the editorial boards of Metallurgist and Recent Patents on Engineering (Scopus). He is an accredited expert of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and a member of the Expert Corps of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He teaches courses on digital technologies in mechanical engineering.


Contribution to Current Job Profile 
I teach courses on digital technologies and intellectual property, conduct research in metal forming and FEA, supervise PhD students, serve as an accredited expert for the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, and contribute to Scopus-indexed editorial boards and international conferences.
